Terracotta keeps sugar dry: the porous clay regulates moisture, stopping it from forming that solid block that never breaks apart again. The same logic as a garlic keeper: terracotta preserves better than any plastic.
Handmade by Maurizio in Altomonte. The shape is simple, with a lid that stays in place. The small variations in the glaze are what you get from an object made without molds.

More resistant than ordinary ceramics, more than double in fact, made with selected clays and lead free glazes. Dishwasher safe, non toxic, and can be used in both microwave and conventional oven.
