Maurizio makes them in Altomonte, one at a time, on the pedal wheel. The small imperfections in the terracotta tell the story of the work: a slightly uneven rim, a surface that carries the mark of hands. These aren't flaws. They're proof that no molds exist, only artisans.
They go in the kitchen and get used, all of them, depending on the day and what's being cooked. Or they're kept on display because they look good together, three different pieces recognizable at first glance.
