In Calabria coffee is a ritual. It's made slowly, served hot and drunk calmly, even when time is short. Terracotta holds the heat longer than ordinary ceramics, so the coffee doesn't go cold straight away. There's still time to drink it properly.
 
Each cup is handmade by Maurizio in his workshop in Altomonte. Small differences between pieces are natural: same hands, same kiln, but every cup is different.
