In Calabria coffee is a ritual. It's made slowly, served hot and drunk calmly, even when time is short. Terracotta keeps the heat longer than ordinary ceramics, so the coffee doesn't cool straight away. There's still time to drink it properly.
 
 
 
Every cup is handmade by Maurizio in his workshop in Altomonte. Small variations between pieces are natural: same hands, same kiln, yet every cup is different.
