Terracotta Christmas baubles aren't the kind you throw away after the holidays. They're the kind you keep.
 

 
Each bauble is handmade by Maurizio in Altomonte, with worked clay and hand-painted decoration before firing. The reindeer, the snowman, the angel, Santa Claus, the butcher's broom: figures that have always belonged to Christmas, reinterpreted in Calabrian terracotta. The result is never the same from one year to the next. Same hands, same technique, but every piece is different.
 

 
Terracotta has a different weight than glass. You feel it when you hold it, you hang it on the tree with more care. And when the tree comes down, it doesn't go into just any box: it goes somewhere you'll remember.
