Soft, fragrant and wholesome: pastette da latte (“milk biscuits”, made for dunking in milk) are one of the simplest and best-loved sweets of Calabrian tradition. Handmade with type 00 wheat flour, sugar, olive oil, eggs, starch and lemon zest, they hold all the goodness of things made the old way.
