The little flower you see on these bowls was put there by Maurizio. By hand, before the terracotta was fired. A small, precise gesture, repeated every time a bowl leaves his workshop in Altomonte.
 
 
 
It isn't an industrial decoration. It's a mark. The way Maurizio signs the piece, gives it a face, makes it recognisable among a hundred others. Every little flower is slightly different: the same hand, the same gesture, but unique every time.
 
 
 
The bowls are made for the table: for olives, dried figs, fruit or sweets. For anything served in a single dish, without fuss. Terracotta keeps things cool in summer, longer than any other material.
 
 
 
Use them every day, without thinking too much. And every day the little flower is there, the same as always.
