A Vrusceddra - 'Nduja and Sun Dried Tomato Paté
 

 
A Vrusceddra Braalla is born in Spilinga, where nduja has been at home for centuries. This time though, it is not just nduja: it is a paté that brings together the bold heat of traditional nduja, sun dried tomatoes and the pulp of spicy Calabrian pepper. The result is a spread you will not soon forget.
 
The name already says it all to those who are Calabrese. For everyone else, just open the jar.

How to enjoy it
 
Spread on warm bruschetta, it is already a complete starter on its own. As a base for pizza it gives a kick no ordinary sauce can match. Wonderful in sandwiches, or as a condiment for creative dishes, adding character to anything that usually lacks it.
 

 
Storage
 
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and heat sources. Once opened, cover with a thin layer of oil and keep refrigerated. Consume within 2 to 3 weeks.
