Orange honey is a type of fine and aromatic honey produced by bees that feed mainly on the nectar of citrus flowers, especially orange trees. This honey is known for its golden color, sweet flavor with light citrus nuances and delicate, floral scent.
 
Bees collect nectar from orange blossoms and transport it to their hive, where enzymes in their saliva begin the process of transforming the nectar into honey. The bees work tirelessly to evaporate the water from the nectar, making it denser and more concentrated until it reaches the right consistency to be sealed in the honeycomb cells with the wax produced by the bees themselves.
 
Orange honey is highly appreciated both for its delicate flavor and its beneficial properties. In addition to being a natural sweetener, it is rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin C, potassium and calcium.
