The ring consists of a round silver band to which a rosette is attached. In every detail, the rosette faithfully reproduces the rose window of the Church of Santa Maria della Consolazione in the old village of Altomonte (CS). Its evocative shape is made from a lost-wax mould and cast in silver, then worked by hand, polished and burnished to bring out the details of its 16 columns and arches.
